We are the IT Infrastructure team and offer global IT infrastructure services within the Daimler Truck Group, including cloud, data center, mainframe, network and digital workplace services. 

❖We look after the core areas of the company with regards to IT infrastructure - be it our Production systems that keep our production and operations running, our Finance systems that run our accounting and controlling processes or our Sales systems that capture customer and sales data.

バックエンドインフラストラクチャーチームに所属し、データセンター・オペレーション・スペシャリストとして勤務していただきます。本ポジションでは、サプライヤー管理、要求事項の実装、発注管理、およびダイムラー・トラックからのインフラ分離プロジェクト支援に重点を置き、エンタープライズ・データセンター・サービスの安定運用と継続的改善を支援します。

ビジネスパートナー、アプリケーションチーム、調達、財務、ITインフラ部門のメンバー、外部サプライヤーとの緊密な連携が必要です。事業およびプロジェクト上の要求を実行可能なインフラ活動へ落とし込み、必要なサービスの適切な発注・進捗管理を行うとともに、変革期間中および変革後の運用準備を支援します。

＜主な業務内容＞

• エンタープライズ・データセンター・サービスの運用活動を管理・調整し、サービス品質、安定性、効率性、透明性を確保する。

• データセンター関連の要求について、アプリケーションオーナー、調達、財務、外部サプライヤーと調整する。

• 要件の明確化、技術的実現可能性の確認調整、通知の準備、ランブックの検証、実装進捗の追跡、運用への適切な引き継ぎを通じて、変更および要求事項の実装を支援する。

• サプライヤーの活動を調整し、発注管理、プロジェクト進捗の追跡、パフォーマンスおよび運用レビュー会議を実施する。

• 移行計画、実装調整、運用準備、文書化を含む、ダイムラー・トラックからのインフラ分離関連プロジェクトを支援する。

• 海外子会社と連携し、データセンターのランディングゾーン、現地インフラ要件、実装上の依存関係、運用準備を整合させる。

• データセンター領域で担当する運用タスクおよびプロジェクト・ワークパッケージのスコープ、スケジュール、予算、品質を管理する。

• データセンター・サービスのインシデント、問題、変更、資産、パッチ管理プロセスに貢献する。

• 運用プロセス、要求管理、サプライヤー連携の改善を推進し、効率性、透明性、拡張性を高める。

• ITサービスマネジメントおよびライセンス管理チームと連携し、IT資産の追跡が正確に行われるよう確保する。

You will belong to the Backend Infrastructure team as a Datacenter Operations Specialist. In this role, you will support the stable operation and continuous improvement of enterprise data center services, with a strong focus on supplier management, demand implementation, order management and project support for the infrastructure separation from Daimler Truck.

The role requires close collaboration with business partners, application teams, procurement, finance, IT infrastructure colleagues and external suppliers. You will help translate business and project demands into executable infrastructure activities, ensure proper ordering and tracking of required services and support operational readiness during and after the transformation.

＜Key Tasks＞

•Manage and coordinate operational activities for enterprise data center services, ensuring service quality, stability, efficiency and transparency.

•Coordinate with application owners, procurement, finance and external suppliers for data center-related demands.

•Support changes and demand implementation by clarifying requirements, coordinating technical feasibility checks, preparing notifications, validating runbooks, tracking implementation progress and ensuring proper handover into operations.

•Coordinate supplier activities, manage orders, track project progress, conduct performance and operational review meetings.

•Support projects related to the infrastructure separation from Daimler Truck, including migration planning, implementation coordination, operational readiness and documentation.

•Coordinate with international subsidiaries to align data center landing zones, local infrastructure requirements, implementation dependencies and operational readiness.

•Track scope, schedule, budget and quality for assigned operational tasks and project work packages within the data center area.

•Contribute to incident, problem, change, asset and patch management processes for data center services.Drive improvement of operational processes, demand handling and supplier collaboration to increase efficiency, transparency and scalability.

•Alignment with IT Service Management, license teams to IT asset tracking is correct

必要な経験

•ITインフラ、データセンター運用、またはITサービスマネジメント分野で3～5年以上の実務経験。

•サーバー、ストレージ、バックアップ、ネットワーク、マネージドサービス要求など、インフラ実装活動の調整経験。

•サプライヤー管理、発注管理、調達調整、またはサービスカタログに基づくインフラ提供の経験があれば尚可。

•インシデント管理、問題管理、変更管理、資産管理、パッチ管理を含むITSMプロセスの実務経験。

•インフラ変革、移行、または分離プロジェクトの支援経験があれば尚可。

•社内外のステークホルダーと、文書および口頭の両方でコミュニケーションできる能力。

•海外チーム、グローバルサプライヤー、またはグローバルプロジェクトパートナーとの協働など、異文化環境での実務経験があれば尚可。

言語要件

•日本語：国内のステークホルダーおよびサプライヤーとの日常的な調整のため、ビジネスレベル以上が望ましい。

•英語：グローバルチーム、サプライヤー、プロジェクトパートナーとの日常的なコミュニケーションのため、ビジネスレベルが必須。

'Skill Requirements

•Broad understanding of IT infrastructure services, especially data center operations, server, storage, backup, network and related managed services.

•Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple demands, orders and implementation tasks in parallel.

•Good understanding of IT service management processes and operational governance.

•Ability to work with suppliers in a structured and professional manner, including follow-up, escalation and deliverable tracking.

•Strong problem-solving skills and logical prioritization in a fast-paced business environment.

•Ability to translate business or project requirements into concrete infrastructure activities and service requests.

•Good documentation skills for operational procedures, demand status, order tracking and project handover materials.

•Effective communication skills and willingness to work in a diverse, intercultural environment.

•Team player with an open-minded attitude and strong sense of ownership.

•Ability to express technical and operational topics clearly for both IT and business stakeholders.

Required Experience

•At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, data center operations or IT service management.

•Experience in coordinating infrastructure implementation activities, such as server, storage, backup, network or managed service requests.

•Experience with supplier management, order management, procurement coordination or service catalog-based infrastructure delivery is preferred.

•Experience working with ITSM processes, including incident management, problem management, change management, asset management and patch management.

•Experience supporting infrastructure transformation, migration or separation projects is an advantage.

•Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders in both written and verbal format.

•Cross-cultural experience, such as working with international teams, global suppliers or global project partners, is preferred.

Language Requirements

•Japanese: Business level or above is preferred for daily coordination with local stakeholders and suppliers.

•English: Business level is required for daily communication with global teams, suppliers and project partners.
