部署の紹介/Department Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead for Tooling Management to build and lead a new function ensuring full transparency of all tools used in automotive part manufacturing. You will manage the connectivity between finished parts, child parts, and their corresponding tooling, and define/operate end-to-end tooling processes with Procurement, SM, CE, R&D, Production, and Finance. You should have strong knowledge of key manufacturing processes (e.g., stamping, machining, casting, molding) and associated tooling. You will develop and maintain tooling life estimation models and link them to budgeting, future tooling investment, and capacity planning. The role requires strong digital skills, including MS365, Power Apps, Power BI, and the ability to design data-driven dashboards and workflows. Experience with AI agents or automation for data analysis and process improvement is highly desirable. You will lead a small team, set standards for data quality and governance, and ensure audit/compliance readiness for tooling-related topics.
Cost Engineering consists of five Team Leads responsible for Cabin, Chassis, Mechatronics, Powertrain, and Benchmarking activities. The Tooling Management Team Lead will work closely with all of these colleagues to ensure consistent tooling strategies and aligned cost assumptions across all domains. The role requires regular coordination of data, tooling concepts, and life estimates with each area to support project decisions and cost targets. Strong cross-functional communication, alignment, and collaboration with all Cost Engineering teams is essential for success in this position.
