Cost Engineering provides the cost transparency on Material Cost for every product. We focus and involve in early phase of the product development and transform technical information into commercials.
Cost Engineering department is composed of 3 teams, Mechatronics & Global collaboration, Cabin-Chassis, Chassis & Powertrain.
The recruitment person will take care of Design to Target, Project and Product Cost, Steering cost avoidance and VE activities for varisous projects regardless it is the department internal activity/ requires collaboration with the external departments, Fuso internal only/collaborate work with oversea Operation Unit.
We are seeking for highly motivated and flexible leader inCost Engineering area.
Leading Cost Engineering Entire Vehicle.
Ensuring Design to Target and front loading activities.
Support Change management by cost evaluation.
Non direct material cost calculation and control.
Activating Supplier workshop for VAVE.
Load Body Management.
Co working with R&D and Finance.
Enhancing Benchmarking activities.
仕事内容／Job Description
■Job Summary
Leading the cost engineering team for Entire Vehicle
- Ensure motivation of subordinates in order to meet aggressive target under the DTA vision
- Enhance internal communication activities- To conduct deep analysis for calculated result vs supplier quotation and offer consultation to internal Prepration of Bottom up target costs for new product projects
- Calculation based on R&D provided specification and derive (inout for BUTC)
- Challenge stakeholders based on best cost solution based on given premises (Design to cost/target)
- Participate Target Matching workshop
- Provide benchmarking know how
- Ensure 100% front loading
Providing Calculations Estimations based on Project and Product Basis
- Estimation for putting new plant/ project
- Support Procurment /IPS to negotiation with suppliers as requested
- Create Ideas for the cost reduction
- Ensure to strengthen Comet, pertaining to cost engineering
- Governance on REC based steering
- Non Direct material cost optimizatio ( Logistics/ Production related/ R&D related)
- Advance Tools for calculation and automation
- Advance business analysis
募集要件／Requirement
■ Job Experience & Knowledge
<Preferable>
Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic engineering is preferred.
Experience in R&D, Procurement & Supply Chain is preferred.
■ Competency
Good in communication, self-leading, and logical thinking, negation skills.
■ Language Level
Japanese: Business Level
English: Business Level
■ Microsoft Office
PPT, Advance EXCEL, and Think-cell.

Address: 10 Okura-cho, Nakahara-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa
Station 1: Company shuttle bus from Tokyu-Toyoko Line "Motosumiyoshi" station and HR "Shinkawasaki" station
Station 2: Approx 10 min walk from JR "Hirama" station
Others: Commuting by car, bicyle, or motor bike is also an option
